Hey guys! Josh tells me the SCCA doesn't have enough people signed up for Sunday's autox (last event of the season). I know none of you have never done autox before (except Roel and Shaun), but it's way fun! Feel free to sign up and become a novice! We have instructors who are more than willing to ride along with you if you are uncomfortable driving alone.
The main reason we need people is because we are short workers. So if you don't wanna race, you can always volunteer to just help with the work positions that need to be filled. It would be GREATLY appreciated
Josh and I will be out there with the 240sx (NOT a Silvia
), but I am not sure yet if I am gonna come. We originally thought we were in group A, so we could leave after group B. But now it's looking like they messed up the run order, so we might be in D. I might drop out if that is the case cuz it's too dang hot for me! We'll see though lol. Josh's dad might be coming out and serving bbq food and such. The regular hot dog lady won't be there cuz she's getting married this weekend.
If you don't wanna race OR volunteer, then you should come out and watch your fellow Mazda member drive a manual
Plus, there are lots of hot cars! YAY! Just notify me somehow and I will let Josh know. If you decide to sign up to race, be sure to do it BEFORE Saturday, cuz that's when registration closes. If you are not sure of your car's class, just sign up and then put in the 'comments' section at the bottom of the reg. form that you're a newbie and don't know
