MonsterKnob. Spins on so smoothly. Need to pick up some washers to space out the shift boot.

Edit* Nevermind, it comes with a couple nuts and washers. The shift boot is back on and looking sexy

Don't they reduce the amount the wheel studs stick out so less distance for the lug nuts to crank down on them. Also extends out where the most force is applied and can lead to the studs breaking. A small spacer probably isn't too bad but there comes a point when it is a bad idea.

spacers replace the existing wheel studs so that shouldnt be the issue.

There are bolt on and slide on spacers. The ones that slide on reduce the amount of thread available. The bolt on ones allow for much more things such as different length and thickness studs. Not sure about this part but i'd imagine a bolt on wheel spacer must be a lot thicker than a slide on one. Also adds more reciprocating mass too if it is indeed noticeably thicker.

spacers are not bad you just need to know how far you can go out on the studs safely. I have been seeing on other mazda forums using 10mm slide on spacers
